Fire, police, and EMS responded to a three-vehicle crash last weekend on I-79 in Jackson Township. In a recently published police report, it was determined one person was injured as a result of the incident.
The police report indicated that a man from Virginia was traveling southbound on I-79 when he attempted to pass another vehicle. While attempting to pass, the man lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail.
While he attempted to gain control of his vehicle, he hit into a second vehicle. That vehicle then landed off of the interstate and rolled several times.
Afterwards, a large Mack truck collided into one of the vehicles.
EMS had checked out the man from Virginia and determined he had suffered minor injuries. His name was not released in the police report.
