Butler Co. park security cameras to cost over $12K

1 Mins read

BUTLER, Pa. (WPMG) – Residents in Butler are not happy with the news they recently received.

The Father Marinaro Park in the City of Butler had over $15,000 worth of damage done to it recently, including graffiti and vandalism.

Now, nearby businesses are stepping up their security game as well. The Italian Club, Elks, and the French and Belgian Club have installed security cameras that record 360-degrees.

The Butler City Police currently have cameras throughout Butler which are used to follow vehicles and persons of interest. Four new cameras will be centered all around the park.

The police hope this will deter vandals.
